What is Organic?

The term “Organic” refers to a product that has been certified as being free of artificial chemicals. Therefore, products certified organic will not have had fertilizers or pesticides applied during the production and manufacturing process.  For products that are wild harvested, like baobab, the organic certification has the additional assurance that it has been sustainably harvested.  The EU and the USA have very strict laws about what it means to be organic and every organic farmer or producer must be inspected by a third party independent certifier every year.
